Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing Gastroenterology team at Mercy Medical Center in Aurora. • Collaborative Team Environment: Work alongside experienced gastroenterologists and support staff
• State-of-the-Art Facilities with advanced GI diagnostic and treatment capabilities

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive GI care alongside a multidisciplinary team of physicians and support staff
• Conduct initial assessments, follow-ups, and manage inpatient consults and outpatient follow-up visits
• Assist with procedures and ensure continuity of care
• Collaborate closely with attending gastroenterologists to optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in care coordination, documentation, and patient education

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensed in Illinois
• Strongly preferred: 1+ year of experience in Gastroenterology or inpatient medicine
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive medical team
• EMR proficiency (experience with Epic is a plus)

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $125,000-$140,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
