Advanced Practice Provider - ED Observation
Responsibilities
Provide clinical oversight for a 10–12 bed ED Observation Unit, delivering 12–18-hour monitoring and care coordination, while collaborating with the hospital medicine team managing 300+ inpatient beds (excluding ICU).
Seeking Experienced Hospitalist APP (AGACNP or Physician Assistant) with 3–5 years of inpatient experience; ideal candidates thrive working independently in a fast-paced hospital medicine environment with rapid patient turnover, admissions, and discharges for low-acuity patients.
Support hospital operations and patient flow by providing coverage for ED holds and ED Observation (EDOP) patients, within a high-volume health system.
Flexible 7-on / 7-off hospitalist schedule (Thursday–Wednesday) with 12-hour day shifts (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.).
