Advanced Practice Provider Certified Nurse Midwife
About the role
As a Certified Nurse Midwife with Intermountain Health, you will join Southridge OB/GYN, supporting patients in our Riverton, Utah location. We are a group practice of 6 CNM's, 2 WHNP, 4 OBGYN Physicians, & 3 OB Hospitalist. Our midwives provide comprehensive health care for women, with a particular emphasis on wellness and patient choice. We support women in their childbirth decisions, whether it's an unmedicated birth or epidural anesthesia. The CNM will provide care in clinic, attend births, and round with mother/baby and antepartum patients in hospital. Our CNMs work at the top of their scope of licensure, admitting, caring for, and discharging patients from inpatient care. As a group practice sharing patients, we work in a highly collaborative model, consulting and collaborating with one another on a consistent basis.
Schedule
This is a full time position and will be fully benefits eligible. Schedule will include outpatient clinic, and rotating call taken in 24 hour shifts. Candidates with CNM experience and CNM New Graduates will be considered.

Requirements
- CNM degree from an accredited program
- Current Utah state license as a Certified Nurse Midwife
- Board Certification as a Nurse Midwife
- Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
- BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers
