About the role
An established outpatient specialty practice within a respected cancer and hematology network is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with experience in breast oncology or breast surgery. This role supports a physician-led practice focused on high-quality, patient-centered cancer care in a structured and well-supported clinical environment. The APP will work largely independently, managing patients in the office setting and collaborating closely with the supervising physician. This position is best suited for a confident, clinically sound provider who is comfortable practicing autonomously when needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient care to breast oncology and/or breast surgery patients
- Independently evaluate, manage, and follow patients during office visits
- Apply strong clinical judgment and decision-making in a fast-paced specialty setting
- Collaborate with physicians and care team members to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Deliver compassionate, professional, and patient-focused care
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Active state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Prior experience in oncology and/or breast surgery
- Ability to work independently with confidence and sound clinical judgment
Pay
$140k–$165k per year
