About the role
This is a unique dual hospital location role where you will manage inpatients with higher acuity in the Sheboygan, WI area. The patient diagnostic complexity involves managing trach/vent/complicated wound and multiple co-morbidities. You must be comfortable managing acute changes in place.
Responsibilities
- Manage inpatients with higher acuity in the Sheboygan, WI area
- Collaborate with Hospitalists to manage patients and implement proprietary protocols
- Work a 7 on 7 off shift schedule (10 hours on site then call off site for the remainder of the 12 hours shift)
- Share the caseload with a physician daily
- Collaborate with corporate leadership to maintain optimal quality metrics and program components
Requirements
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of acute inpatient hospital experience as a physician assistant or a nurse practitioner
- Able to work autonomously
Qualifications
- Consistent educational background with requirements for licensure and certification with the State of Wisconsin
Skills
- Ability to manage acute changes in place
- Experience with managing trach/vent/complicated wound and multiple co-morbidities
- Strong collaboration skills
- Proficiency in implementing proprietary protocols
