About the Role
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) delivers patient care within the scope of their training and governing-board agreement, collaborating with other providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high satisfaction. Duties and benefits may differ slightly between franchise locations.
Responsibilities
- Perform complete, detailed, and accurate health histories; review patient records; develop comprehensive medical assessments.
- Order laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic studies tailored to patient complaints, demographics, and physical condition.
- Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses; institute therapy or refer patients to appropriate healthcare facilities, agencies, or physicians.
- Provide emergency measures and stabilization in critical situations (e.g., cardiac arrest, shock, hemorrhage, allergic reactions).
- Interpret and analyze patient data to determine status, management, and treatment plans.
- Educate patients, families, and significant others on healthcare and health promotion.
- Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills with staff, patients, and families.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certification (1 year of ER/Urgent Care experience preferred).
- Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice.
- DEA number and state-controlled substance certificate, as required.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently.

Pay
$85.00 - $95.00 per hour.
