About the role

As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in the Department of Urology at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon, IL, you will provide comprehensive urological care to patients. This position requires a strong background in urology and advanced clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat urological conditions using evidence-based medicine
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
• Perform procedures such as cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, and percutaneous nephrolithotomy
• Provide patient education on urological health and disease management
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects

Requirements

• Current license to practice as an Advanced Practice Provider in Illinois
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Urology
• Experience in urological care and procedures
• Strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field
• Board certification in Urology
• Experience in teaching and mentoring junior providers
