Advanced Practice Provider (APP)/(PA/NP/APRN)/School of Medicine/ Gastroenterology and Hepatology/Instructor

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluation and management of GI disorders within the scope of a general gastroenterology advanced practice provider including: GERD Dysphagia IBS/functional GI disorders Constipation Diarrhea Gastrointestinal bleeding/iron deficiency anemia Eosinophilic Esophagitis Inflammatory Bowel Disease Abnormal liver function tests Liver cirrhosis Pancreatitis GI motility disorders

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: MSN required from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensure by a national professional organization, Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Colorado, Admission to the Advanced Practice Registry of the Colorado Board of Nursing, Prescriptive authority required, Two (2) years clinical experience in practice as an NP or PA
• Preferred Qualifications: DNP preferred for Nurse Practitioners, Three (3) or more years of experience working in Gastroenterology, Three (3) or more years of inpatient experience, Three (3) or more years of outpatient experience
