About the role

This position promotes excellence in patient care by advancing the quality, efficient, and cost-effective care, and scope of medical practice through clinical practice, education, consultation, research, and administrative roles. Assists supervising physician in the management of patients, and performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of the physician.

• Assists supervising physician in the management of patients, and performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of the physician.
• Participates in clinical practice, education, consultation, research, and administrative roles to advance the quality, efficiency, and cost-effective care, and scope of medical practice.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a PA or NP in the state of [State]
• Current certification from an accredited body (e.g., AANP, ANCC)
• Completion of a residency program in primary care
• Experience in primary care settings preferred

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited program in PA or NP
• Passing score on the National Certification Exam (NCE) or National Licensure Examination (NCLEX)
