Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA), Pulmonary Critical Care - Atlantic Health Newton Medical Center
About the role
The ideal candidate will bring a positive and caring attitude, excellent communication skills, and clinical expertise. The primary role of the Advanced Practice Professional is to work collaboratively with the pulmonology team and provide immediate support at the hospital as well as seeing predominantly follow-up patients at the hospital and outpatient offices.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the pulmonology team to provide immediate support at the hospital.
- See predominantly follow-up patients at the hospital and outpatient offices.
- Work in conjunction with pulmonologists to evaluate sleep medicine patients, pulmonary patients, inpatient consults, and critical care.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program.
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey.
- ACLS and BLS certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of Pulmonary experience.
- Excellent communication and computer skills.
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently.
