Key Responsibilities
Direct supervision and support for Advanced Practice Providers in our Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant oncology and cellular therapy program (BMTU)
Develop and maintain educational initiatives for Advanced Practice Providers
Cookordination ongoing professional development opportunities for APPs
Ensure appropriate staffing and coverage for day-to-day operations
Collaborate regularly with executive leadership to align goals and priorities
Lead and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with all FACT requirements, accreditation standards, and proper documentation for advanced practice providers
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Master's Degree from Accredited PA Program or Master's Degree from an Accredited NP Program with National Board Certification, and Florida State Licensure
- Minimum 5 years experience in Bone Marrow Transplant, Cellular Therapy Oncology
BLS certification required
Credentialing: Must meet requirements set by the Medical Staff Office to obtain and retain privileges to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner within UF Health Shands Hospital and/or the Shands UF Healthcare Network, as applicable
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Master's Degree from Accredited PA Program OR Master's Degree from an Accredited NP Program with National Board Certification, and Florida State Licensure
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation (Required): (Refer to CP 1.51)
