Key Responsibilities

• Direct supervision and support for Advanced Practice Providers in our Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant oncology and cellular therapy program (BMTU)

• Develop and maintain educational initiatives for Advanced Practice Providers

• Cookordination ongoing professional development opportunities for APPs

• Ensure appropriate staffing and coverage for day-to-day operations

• Collaborate regularly with executive leadership to align goals and priorities

• Lead and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

• Ensure compliance with all FACT requirements, accreditation standards, and proper documentation for advanced practice providers

Qualifications

• Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Master's Degree from Accredited PA Program or Master's Degree from an Accredited NP Program with National Board Certification, and Florida State Licensure
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Bone Marrow Transplant, Cellular Therapy Oncology

• BLS certification required

• Credentialing: Must meet requirements set by the Medical Staff Office to obtain and retain privileges to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner within UF Health Shands Hospital and/or the Shands UF Healthcare Network, as applicable

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Master's Degree from Accredited PA Program OR Master's Degree from an Accredited NP Program with National Board Certification, and Florida State Licensure

• Motor Vehicle Operator Designation (Required): (Refer to CP 1.51)
