Advanced Practice Clinician - St. Dominic's Emergency Department- Jackson, MS

About the role

St. Dominic’s Emergency Department is a 40-bed ER with an average daily census of 130 patients per day. It is a Level III Trauma center and Mississippi's only comprehensive stroke center.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Board Certified EM Physicians
• Work in conjunction with the emergency medicine physician during APC shifts divided into a triage shift and a yellow-pod shift
• Work full-time on Day, Evening, and night shifts with 9-hour shifts
• Use Epic EMR

Requirements

• NP or PA board certified license
• Emergency medicine experience preferred

Qualifications

• Highly skilled in patient care
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
