Advanced Practice Clinician [PA or NP] - Primary Care | Optum, American Health Network

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient panel with the support and resources needed to practice at the peak of your license
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including care coordinators, behavioral health, pharmacy, and other care providers at the practice
  • Perform in-office procedures such as simple skin surgery, fracture care, joint injections, maternity care, IUD's, etc. (if desired)
  • Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives
  • Educate and empower your patients to take ownership of their health

Required Qualifications

  • Unrestricted licensure in the state where this job will be performed or ability to obtain prior to starting employment
  • Board certified or board eligible as a Family Nurse Practitioner (ANCC/AANP) or a Physician Assistant (NCCPA)
  • Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to starting employment
