About the Role

Yakima County is the fruit basket of Washington and offers livelihood to many families with the abundance of its harvest. The harvest includes the nation's leading export of hops and exports apples, grapes, cherries, and asparagus. The Yakima Valley is also home to many breweries, wineries, and cider houses. The abundance of agriculture contributes to the livelihood of our migrant farmworkers, warehouse workers, transportation industry, food industry, sustainability in farm-to-table programs, and more.

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician dedicated to serving underserved patient populations. This role is based at West Valley Family Health in Yakima, WA, proudly serving a largely migrant and Latino community with a certified bilingual Medical Assistant dedicated to assisting in translation and patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Manage your patient panel within a team-based care model
  • Provide high-quality, comprehensive care to underserved patient populations
  • Participate in 34 hours of clinical work and 6 hours of administrative time per week

Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctoral Degree - Nurse Practitioner or Master's Degree - Physician Assistant or Bachelor's Degree in Health Science and a two-year Physician Assistant training program
  • Passion for community health and family medicine
  • Commitment to working with underserved patient populations
  • New graduates are welcome; clinical rotations and community health experience with underserved populations are valued

Schedule

  • Full-time, 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week)
  • Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 6:00 pm

Pay

  • Base Compensation: $141,000 - $155,000
  • Additional earnings from productivity and patient satisfaction measures
  • $15,000 hiring bonus
  • $20,000 relocation allowance
  • $50,000 student loan repayment assistance (beginning the month after start date)
