Advanced Practice Clinician Fellow, Urgent Care

Responsibilities

• Obtain histories
• Perform physical examinations
• Develop differential diagnoses
• Formulate assessment and management plans
• Care for coordination
• Provide patient education and treatment
• Engage in all required educational opportunities

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• Licensure/Certification: Current national certification by the NCCPA, current licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in Minnesota -or- current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the State of Minnesota, current national certification by the AANP, ANCC or AACN, current licensure to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Minnesota

About the Role

The HealthPartners Urgent Care Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) Fellowship is designed to support new graduate APCs in their transition to practice or experienced APCs in their transition to a new specialty. The program provides comprehensive clinical and didactic experiences that foster competence and confidence in delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care to patients with acute and urgent medical conditions in the outpatient setting.
