About the role

The HealthPartners Hospital Medicine Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) Fellowship is a 12-month program starting in January 2027, aimed at supporting new graduates or experienced APCs in transitioning to hospital medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Obtaining histories and performing physical examinations
  • Developing differential diagnoses and formulating assessment and management plans
  • Cooking care, providing patient education, and treatment
  • Engaging in all required educational opportunities

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Prior inpatient experience in clinical rotations (preferred)
  • Current national certification by the NCCPA
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the State of Minnesota
  • Current national certification by the AANP, ANCC, or AACN

Qualifications

Note: Applicants may be in final year of completing these requirements with hiring dependent upon successful completion. Candidates are welcome to apply prior to having formal licensure and certification but must be obtained at least 3 months prior to start date of program.
