Responsibilities

  • Obtain histories and perform physical examinations
  • Develop differential diagnoses and formulate assessment and management plans
  • Care for patients through coordination of care, patient education, and treatment
  • Participate in all required educational opportunities

Requirements

  • Licensure/Certification: Current national certification by the NCCPA, current licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in Minnesota, current national certification by the AANP, ANCC or AACN, current licensure to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult-Gerontological Nurse Practitioner in Minnesota
  • Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program (with final year completion required for some positions)

About the Role

The HealthPartners Primary Care Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) Fellowship is designed to support new graduate APCs in their transition to practice or experienced APCs in their transition to a new specialty. It provides comprehensive clinical and didactic experiences that foster competence and confidence in delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care to patients in the outpatient setting.
