About the role
The HealthPartners Cardiology Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) Fellowship is a 12-month program designed to support new graduates or experienced APCs in transitioning to cardiology practice.
Responsibilities
- Perform histories and physicals
- Develop differential diagnoses
- Formulate assessment and management plans
- Care coordination
- Provide patient education and treatment
- Participate in required educational opportunities
Requirements
- Licensure/Certification: Current national certification by the NCCPA, current licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in Minnesota, current national certification by the AANP, ANCC or AACN, current licensure to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontological Nurse Practitioner, or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in Minnesota
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program (with final year completion acceptable)

Note: Applicants may be in final year of completing these requirements with hiring dependent upon successful completion. Candidates are welcome to apply prior to having formal licensure and certification but must be obtained at least 3 months prior to start date of program.
