About the Role
Join a dedicated healthcare team in a vibrant coastal community as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner within the Cardiothoracic Surgery division.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate multidisciplinary pulmonary nodule conferences
- Serve as a navigator for the Lung Cancer Screening program
- Evaluate inpatients, perform preoperative assessments, and manage postoperative care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Develop inpatient thoracic procedural skills
- Participate in minimally invasive surgeries
- Support a growing lung cancer screening program in a collegial team setting
Requirements
- Unrestricted Delaware medical license
- Valid DEA registration
- BLS certification
- MS degree with ACNP and NP certification in medical surgery
