Role Overview: The Advanced Nuclear Medicine Technologist operates nuclear medicine imaging equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. They ensure radiation safety, maintain high-quality imaging standards, and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Responsibilities: Operate specialized imaging equipment proficiently.Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards, including ALARA and NRC regulations.Maintain accurate protocols and make necessary adjustments.Prioritize patient care, safety, and effective communication. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Sciences Program in Nuclear Medicine with clinical hours completed.At least one year of relevant experience.Licensure as required by state; NMTCB or ARRT (N); BLS certification.Knowledge of biohazard safety, radiation safety, and protocols.Strong decision-making, attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs regularly, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform tasks involving reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting.
