Advanced Modality Technologist (C-arm)

About the role

Join a leading healthcare organization as a Full-Time or Advanced Modality Technologist. In this role, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced modalities such as CT, MRI, Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, or Cardiac Catheterization on both adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
• Conduct studies independently, including on-call, portable exams, and coverage of various sites.
• Operate C-Arms and O-Arms in the operating room and utilize portable x-ray machines for intraoperative or emergency imaging.
• Occasionally use Radlink and assist with coverage for portable x-ray and ED teams.

Qualifications and Skills

• Associate degree or higher in a related field.
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)).
• Preferred experience in C-arm, Level 1 or 2 trauma, or OR settings.
• Additional certifications such as RTR, CT, MR, BD, CI, VI, or ARRT are advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of imaging procedures, safety protocols, and quality control.

• Ability to operate advanced imaging equipment and perform procedures independently.
