Advanced Mfg Engineer I
About the role
As an Advanced Mfg Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will optimize production processes, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence. You will work on implementing manufacturing solutions and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Urbana, OH location on an On-site work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions
- Aid in data collection and analysis to identify areas for process improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- Entry-level experience or internships in manufacturing engineering or related fields
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control principles
- Familiarity with manufacturing tools and software such as CAD, data analysis tools, and process documentation
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
Skills
You must have advanced degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, and experience or internships in aerospace manufacturing environments. You should also have ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and eagerness to learn. Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulations, strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also required.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 annually.
Schedule
The position is on an On-site work schedule.
