Responsibilities
- Provide program guidance and technical leadership to a team of assigned Manufacturing Engineers in execution of complex new product introduction development programs.
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in advanced manufacturing processes.
- Develop and implement advanced manufacturing strategies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Lead cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing operations and enhance productivity.
- Identify and evaluate cutting edge technologies for adoption in manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Analyze manufacturing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in advanced manufacturing.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to engineers at all levels and stakeholder organizations.
Qualifications
- Experience with Engines & Power Systems products / Turbomachinery / Power Generation.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Master's or Ph.D. preferred).
- Extensive experience in advanced manufacturing engineering and process optimization.
- Strong knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies, such as automation, robotics, and additive manufacturing.
- Proven track record of driving innovation and continuous improvement in manufacturing operations.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Significant relevant experience in engineering and manufacturing companies within the aerospace, defense, and/or automotive industries.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to interface and communicate effectively with executive level leadership.
- Ability to work and lead effectively in cross-functional environment.
