Responsibilities
- Scout and deploy advanced manufacturing technologies that improve operational capability and support long-term plant competitiveness.
- Justify and prioritize capital investments through data-driven analysis of cost, capacity, quality, and risk.
- Own supplier engagement and equipment acquisition, from concept development through technical selection and purchase.
- Lead cross-functional implementation of new technology, including installation, validation, and production ramp-up.
- Provide feedback, advice, project updates, and encouragement to project team members.
- Communicate promptly with all relevant stakeholders if timeline or cost associated with project deviates from approved plan.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience successfully managing and leading engineering projects to launch technology in a fast-moving consumer goods manufacturing environment.
- University degree (technical background) preferred.
- Demonstrated progression in technical field during career.
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
- Tech aptitude in industrial robotics, cobots, AMR / AGV, and industrial automation required.
- Injection molding / plastics background useful.
- Proficiency in AutoCad and SolidWorks.
- Desire to work in a role that blends hands-on technical knowledge and project management skills.
- Excellent time management skills, and strong communication skills with the ability to communicate across multiple teams.
- Ability to travel approximately 20% (including Global).
