About the role

Perform mammography imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammography and imaging equipment
• Ensure patient safety
• Maintain high-quality imaging standards
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to deliver optimal care

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program with clinical experience or a Bachelor's degree
• ARRT (R)(M) certification
• BLS certification
• State licensure if required

Skills

• Proficiency in producing diagnostic images
• Understanding of advanced procedures and machine operation
• Knowledge of radiation safety and quality improvement protocols
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Prolonged standing and walking
• Perform physical tasks such as grasping, reaching, bending, and kneeling
