Advanced Mammography Technologist - $10K Sign-On Bonus

About the Role

Provide screening and diagnostic mammography for radiologist interpretation, assisting with special procedures such as needle localizations and biopsies when required. Ensure patient care and safety during radiological procedures while applying radiation protection principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform outpatient mammography procedures accurately.
• Assist radiologists with special procedures like biopsies and localizations.
• Support general radiographic and office duties as needed.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Radiology program; Mammography training and 40 hours preferred but will train suitable candidates.
• Two years of Radiology and/or Mammography experience preferred.
• Complete ARRT registry within 6 months of hire; Mammography registry within one year if not already certified.
• Maintain Arkansas State Radiologic Technologist License and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
