Overview
The Advanced Heart Failure Specialty Unit is a 24-bed unit that provides high acuity cardiac care to patients with severe heart failure, pre/post heart transplant, the Total Artificial Heart, and pulmonary hypertension.

Multiple shifts available.
Advanced Heart Failure Unit
The Advanced Heart Failure Unit relies on 24 hours consistent communication and intricate interdisciplinary teamwork skills. Nurses handle 3-4 patients on this unit based on acuity level.
The Advanced Heart Failure Unit is an ACCN Gold Beacon Award Unit that is recognized for excellence in providing high-quality patient care, and a work environment that fosters teamwork, collaboration, and positivity.

Education
Associates Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)
Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN or MSN (Preferred)
Certification/Licensure
Virginia RN License
Virginia or Compact/Multi-State Eligible
All Direct Care RN's required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.
Critical Care/IMCU ACLS within 1 year of hire.
