About the role

The Advanced Environmental Services Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and infection control standards within a hospital environment. This position requires advanced knowledge and skills in environmental services, with a focus on maintaining a hygienic and sterile environment to support patient care and safety.

Schedule

• Part-Time / Days
• 7 am–3:30 pm or 8 am–4:30 pm
• Every other weekend off
• Eligible for weekend shift differential

Responsibilities

• Follow written and verbal instructions
• Perform manual tasks related to environmental services
• Interact with the public and provide customer service

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior hospital environmental service experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs regularly
• Prolonged standing and walking during each shift
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat
