Advanced Engineer, Product Technology

Responsibilities

• Maintain internal product release criteria in line with manufacturing capabilities and customer requirements for commercial products and new products under development.
• Provide technical support of business-critical manufacturing and supply issues to internal and external customers.
• Be a steward of product data quality, communication, and enable connections of product attributes to new customers and applications.
• Take on development of new polyester products as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Polymer Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in thermoplastics manufacturing, product development, application development, product management, or technical service within engineering polymers.
• Strong understanding of polymer characterization, analytical techniques, and material property testing methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and align objectives across technical, commercial, and operational functions.
• Experience troubleshooting complex product, process, or application-related issues.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and customer-facing communication skills.
• Prioritized ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively in cross-functional environments.
