Responsibilities

Performs responsible work in transporting patients of all ages and in rendering basic and advanced life support to a patient population that includes infants through older adults.

Requirements

• Completion of the North Carolina Office of Emergency Medical Services training program or an equivalent training program.
• AEMT‑Advanced Emergency Medical Technician certification by the State of North Carolina.
• Valid North Carolina driver's license.
• Three‑year acceptable driving record.
• Submit copy of AEMT certification (include out‑of‑state certification, if applicable) with application.

Pay

• Hiring range: $26.00 – $42.19 per hour.
• Eligible for a $6,000 sign‑on bonus.
• Salary is contingent upon working the required scheduled hours per pay period.
• Pay provided for attending mandatory continuing education events.

Schedule

Full‑time, 40 hours per week, non‑exempt.
