ADVANCED EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN - A 43 (MULTIPLE POSITIONS)

About the role

This position is for multiple Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) within Durham County.

Responsibilities

- Provide emergency medical care in response to calls - Perform basic life support and advanced cardiac life support - Transport patients using ambulance equipment - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers

Requirements

- High School Diploma or equivalent - Current certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Valid North Carolina Driver’s License - CPR certification

Qualifications

- Excellent communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Skills

- Proficient in computer systems - Strong problem-solving abilities - Effective time management

Pay

Salary range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule
