Job Summary

Responsible for providing high quality pre-hospital and interfacility advanced life support including assessment, triage, and treatment utilizing standards and guidelines established by HCA Healthcare North Carolina MAMA.

Qualifications

  • Maintains current licensure and certification as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician in N.C. Office of Emergency Medical Services
  • Maintain BCLS and PHTL/ITLS Certifications
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, must be 21 years old to meet Mission Health insurance guidelines
  • Maintain FEMA 100, 200, 700, & 800
  • Attend 80% of monthly scheduled team meetings
  • College education (or equivalent); Associated degree preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years full time experience at the AEMT level at a demanding 911 or interfacility transport service
