About the role

As an Advanced Electromagnetic Design Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will use your expertise in electromagnetics design, analysis, manufacturing, test, and troubleshooting to support design, analysis and procurement of motors, tachometers, and resolvers for the high reliability space business.

Honeywell Aerospace's Electronic Solutions (ES) is a worldwide leader in the development of flight controls, displays, guidance and navigation systems and inertial instruments. The Glendale, AZ ES facility has a 40-year heritage of designing, developing, and manufacturing extremely high reliability products for manned and unmanned space applications.

Responsibilities

  • Electromagnetics Design and Analysis
  • Electromagnetics Data Package Review
  • Electromagnetics Supplier Support
  • Manufacturing Readiness Reviews
  • Production Support Material Review Board Support
  • Customer Presentations

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in electromagnetics design, analysis, test, and troubleshooting
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • Ability to work independently
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
  • Creative problem solving skills
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Tools
