Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate advanced testing activities for aerospace systems and components, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Develop and execute detailed test plans and procedures using state-of-the-art testing tools and methodologies.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, development, and quality assurance to define test requirements and resolve issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in test engineering, preferably within aerospace or related industries.
  • Strong expertise in advanced test methodologies, test automation, and data analysis techniques.
  • Proficiency with aerospace testing tools and software such as LabVIEW, MATLAB, or similar platforms, and experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of aerospace standards and regulatory requirements relevant to testing and validation.
  • Advanced degrees such as Master’s or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience with certification processes and compliance testing for aerospace products.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to innovate and improve testing processes.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or TCL for test automation.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to changing project priorities.

Schedule

Onsite M-F for the first 90 days, then a hybrid work schedule.
