Advanced CV Special Procedure Tech - PRN - Mercy Jefferson

Responsibilities

• Serves as a resource, superuser, and assists in orientation and training.
• Ensures accurate diagnoses and effective treatments for patients with heart-related conditions using advanced knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, sterile technique, and advanced imaging technologies.
• Communicates effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completion of required clinical hours or completion of RCIS training certification.
• Two (2) years of relevant experience.
• Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
• Certification/Registration: ARRT (R) or CCI(RCIS); Basic Life Support (BLS).

Qualifications

• PREFERRED: Bachelor’s degree.
• PREFERRED: Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills.
• PREFERRED: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
• PREFERRED: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• PREFERRED: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Physical Requirements

• Requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
