Advanced Care Partner Surgical Oncology

About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care under the delegation and/or supervision of a nurse or healthcare provider. It also includes assisting patients with personal care, activities of daily living, and progressive mobility.

Responsibilities

• Gathers vital signs
• Maintains sterile dressing changes
• Starts peripheral IVs
• Measures intake and output
• Aids in personal care tasks
• Ensures care area is stocked, cleaned, and orderly

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider within 30 days of hire
• Enrolled in an accredited nursing program and in good standing
• Completed first clinical rotation (equivalent to Med/Surg I)

Qualifications

• Must have completed first clinical rotation (equivalent to Med/Surg I)
• Provide transcripts of successful completion

Skills

• Proficiency in patient care
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Pay

$19.10 - $24.83 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
