Advance Practice Provider - PD Day Surgery TRMC

About the role

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) coordinates care through collaboration with the attending Physician. The APP provides care in accordance with the objectives, policies, and procedures of the practice and the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner Advisory Committee. The main function of this role is to provide consistent, high-quality perioperative/postoperative care for all surgery patients.

Responsibilities

• Surgical first assisting
• Perioperative/postoperative management
• Hospital rounds on inpatients
• Emergency room consultations
• Active member of the surgery patient care team

Qualifications

• Required (APN/NP): Current APN Certification, Current RN NJ state license, CDSDEAC, Current BLS/ACLS, RNFA Certification
• Required (Physician Assistant): Current Physician Assistant Certification, CDSDEAC, Current BLS/ACLS
• PREFERRED: Acute care certification, 3-5 years of acute care hospital experience
