Advance Practice Provider Lead

About the role

RWJBH is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider Lead for the Operating Room. This role will have responsibilities in all areas of surgery including Ortho, General, Davinci, Colorectal, GYN, and Urology.

The position is a clinical role with 80% of the work being clinical and 20% being administrative, including scheduling, payroll, and performance evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Work with the leadership team to help manage day-to-day operations of the surgery service.
• Provide administrative support and oversight for training new staff in all areas, as well as providing education.
• Work in all areas of surgery, with significant operating room knowledge and skills required.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Acute Care NP program or Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Graduate of RNFA program with demonstrated skill in cardiac surgery first assisting and vein taking.
• 4-7 years of demonstrated high-functioning surgical experience.
• Demonstrated leadership role in the past preferred.
• Experience working at the top of license with autonomy in all clinical areas.

Qualifications

• Current NJ APN/PA license required.
• NCCPA certification required.
• CDS required.
• DEA required.
• RN required.
• RNFA certification required if working in the operating room.
• BLS required.
• ACLS required.

Pay

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $125,000.00 - $195,000.00 per year. The compensation offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.
