Advance Practice Nurse

About the role

We are hiring an Advance Practice Nurse for one of our clients in Ancora, NJ. This is a full‑time position. The department seeks experienced APNs with flexibility and availability to work weekend overtime as needed. The client is looking for a Medical APN (not a Psych APN).

Responsibilities

• Admissions
• Physical assessment of patients
• Health maintenance of the inpatient psychiatric population
• Treatment planning
• Treatment prescription for the inpatient psychiatric population
• Member of a multi‑disciplinary team

Requirements

• Registered Nurse License
• Advanced Practice Nursing License
• NJ CDS license
• USA DEA registration
• ANCC certificate

Qualifications

Current and valid certification as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner issued by the New Jersey Board of Nursing, adult health.

• Experience in Adult Health

Schedule

Work hours: 8:15 AM – 4:15 PM with a 1‑hour unpaid lunch. Full‑time position; weekend overtime may be required as needed.

BGV and fingerprint verification will be conducted for the selected candidate; fingerprinting costs $40.00 and is arranged by HR. Work location: office/hospital (on‑site).
