Adults and Communities
About the Directorate
The Adults & Communities Directorate was created to champion and strengthen the vital role that communities play in improving health equity, individual wellbeing, and the vibrancy of local places. The directorate supports residents of Torfaen to lead healthy, fulfilling, and independent lives within their communities. This includes community connecting, reablement, and adult social care functions.
The directorate collaborates with partners across Torfaen to support community groups, organizations, and volunteers essential to a thriving and healthy community. It works across Council departments to ensure services are organized around the community and informed by data insight and business intelligence.
Strategic Director for Adults & Communities: Dave Leech.
