Adult Therapist Internship
About the role
This Adult Therapist Internship is for current Master level students in their MSW, MA, or MFT programs. Interns in our Adult Outpatient Services Programs in Olympia will gain experience working with a diverse adult population. Interns will meet with clients in person or via telehealth for outpatient mental health appointments. Interns will gain experience using EBPs, staffing cases, and navigating electronic health records.
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients in person or via telehealth for outpatient mental health appointments.
- Gain experience using Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs).
- Staff cases as part of the treatment team.
- Navigate electronic health records.
Requirements
Interns must be current Master level students in their MSW, MA, or MFT programs. No prior clinical experience is required.
Qualifications
Students must have completed at least 12 credit hours in their program and be enrolled full-time.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of electronic health records.
