About the role

The Adult Recovery Coach will provide support and guidance to individuals in recovery from substance use disorders. This role involves facilitating group sessions, providing individual counseling, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on recovery and personal growth
• Provide individual counseling to clients as needed
• Collaborate with medical and mental health professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Assess client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions and progress

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience working with individuals in recovery
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel to client appointments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Knowledge of addiction recovery principles and practices
• Experience with evidence-based treatment models
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to build rapport and trust with clients
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Work hours are flexible and can vary based on client needs, typically ranging from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
