Adult Psychiatrist - Per Diem

About the role

We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist to join our team at the Behavioral Medicine Center. This role involves onsite weekend inpatient rounding on adult behavioral health units and call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Conducting inpatient rounds and managing acute psychiatric cases, with or without residents and nurse practitioners
• Responding to calls and assisting psychiatric residents with case staffing
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team
• Providing supervision or consultation to residents and nurse practitioners when needed

Qualifications

This position allows for independent practice, collaboration with nurse practitioners, and teaching opportunities with residents and students.

The role requires clinical expertise in adult psychiatry, strong communication skills, and the ability to work within a team. Ideal candidates are committed to patient care, teamwork, and professional development.
