Adult Psychiatrist - Hybrid Schedule

About the role

LifeStance Health is actively seeking Child Psychiatrists in the Oceanside area. We are a rapidly growing behavioral health practice group dedicated to improving access to trusted, affordable, and personalized mental healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive mental healthcare services to children, adolescents, and adults
• Collaborate with mid-level providers for additional compensation
• Engage in ongoing professional development and education
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and provide psychotherapy as needed
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records

Requirements

• Must be fully licensed in one or more US states
• Must hold a Board Certification in Psychiatry (BE/BC)
• Must be unencumbered by the DEA
• Experience in both medication management and therapy for child and adolescent populations

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Psychiatry
• Passing scores on the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) or Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensing Examination (COMLEX)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems
