Adult Psychiatrist - Hybrid Schedule
About the role
LifeStance Health is actively seeking Child Psychiatrists in the San Diego area. We are a rapidly growing behavioral health practice group committed to improving access to trusted, affordable, and personalized mental healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive mental healthcare services to children, adolescents, and families
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to guide treatment decisions
- Prescribe medications and provide psychotherapy as appropriate
- Participate in ongoing professional development and education
- Engage in community outreach and education initiatives
Requirements
- Must be fully licensed in one or more US states
- Must have a Board Certification in Psychiatry (BE/BC)
- Must be unencumbered by the DEA
- Experience in both medication management and therapy for child and adolescent populations
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Psychiatry
- Passing scores on the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) or Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensing Examination (COMLEX)

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems
