Adult/Pediatric Home Care - Licensed Practical Nurse

About the role

Join our Skilled Nursing team in Middlesex County, New Jersey as a Licensed Practical Nurse. We serve a diverse client base ranging from infants to older adults, with varying acuity levels including trach and vent care. This is an opportunity to provide one-to-one client care, build lasting relationships, and grow your nursing skills in a private duty setting.

Private duty nursing differs from traditional home health visits by offering:

• Traditional shift lengths (4, 8, 10, or 12 hours)
• Hands-on care with only one client per day
• Opportunity to build client relationships and witness their milestones
• Client age ranges from infant to geriatric

Responsibilities

• Travel to client homes near you on a schedule you choose
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
• Perform assessments and monitor clients' conditions
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations
• Perform nursing skills with autonomy in the home setting

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program
• Current nursing license in good standing in the state of New Jersey

Pay

Compensation ranges from $32 to $35 per hour based on qualifications.

Schedule

Flexible scheduling with no minimum hour requirements available for full-time, part-time, and per diem positions.
