ADULT EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR

• Plan and deliver instruction aligned with adult education content standards and program goals.
• Assess student learning needs and monitor progress through formal and informal assessments.
• Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, performance, and outcome data.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and skill levels.
• Foster a supportive and respectful classroom environment that promotes student retention and success.
• Collaborate with program staff and community partners to support student goals and transitions.
• Participate in professional development and program meetings as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid Virginia teaching license or eligibility for licensure in adult education or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience working with adult learners or in a similar instructional setting.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
