Adult Education ESL Instructor - Part Time

About the role

This is a part time evening position.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in English to adult learners.
• Teach English as a Second Language (ESL).
• Work with adult learners to build on their personal and professional experience.
• Facilitate the acquisition of academic, technical, and personal skills necessary for success in a diverse society.

Requirements

• Valid and current Michigan Teaching Certificate; Elementary or Secondary English.
• Previous experience teaching English as a second language preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with adult learners.

Skills

• Ability to work effectively with adult learners.
• Knowledge of adult education principles and practices.
