About the role
Teach English as a Second Language to Adults in West Contra Costa! Literacy/Beginning Low level teacher needed for an morning class, 4 days per week, Mon-Thurs. Student/class time is 9:00 to 11:30 am (10 hours per week). There are 12 hours total paid time per week which includes 30 minutes prep/admin time per day. Requirements / Qualifications
- Current California Credential
- Provide a current resume
- Provide three current (3) letters of reference
- Provide copy of transcripts showing evidence that a Bachelor Degree or higher was awarded
- At time of hire provide current T.B. clearance dated within the last year
- Covid vaccine card
- Please Note: All applicants MUST have fingerprint clearance through our district (WCCUSD) prior to being hired.
- Must hold a valid Single Subject or Multiple Subject teaching credential, or a Designated Subjects (ESL) Adult Education Teaching Credential or valid Preliminary Adult Education Teaching Credential.
