About the role

Teach Adults in West Contra Costa English as a Second Language! Literacy level teacher needed for an evening class, 4 nights per week, Mon, Tues, Wed. Class time is 6:30 - 9 pm. There are 10 hours total paid time per week which includes 25 minutes prep/admin time per night.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Current California Credential
  • Provide a current resume
  • Provide three current (3) letters of reference
  • Provide copy of transcripts showing evidence that a Bachelor Degree or higher was awarded
  • At time of hire provide current T.B. clearance dated within the last year
  • All applicants MUST have fingerprint clearance through our district (WCCUSD) prior to being hired.
  • Must hold a valid Single Subject or Multiple Subject teaching credential, or a Designated Subjects (ESL) Adult Education Teaching Credential or valid Preliminary Adult Education Teaching Credential.
